On our way up to the top.

The view from the "eye full" tower at the top of the Driving Creek Railway looking down over the Hauraki Gulf.

And again.

And again.

And again.

The parents. The Hauraki Gulf is in the background. Cool cloud above there heads!

The family at the top of the Driving Creek Railway. Not too shabby, eh?

The tracks at the Driving Creek Railway.

Mom and I at the Driving Creek Cafe, where I work last summer washing dishes.

A little baby pig, only a few days old, out on the 309 road south of Coromandel Town.

And me with the pig.

Mom and I at the Waiau Waterfall on the 309 road.

Looking up a Kauri Tree in the Waiau Kauri Grove off the 309 road. There is a whole ecosystem just on the bark of the tree.

Saying goodbye to the Bach.

Parents, Car, Pohutukawa Tree.

Pohutukawa flower up close. These trees tend to be in full bloom in December giving them the nickname of the New Zealand Christmas Tree.

Wednesday, November 26:

The Wong Way. In Te Anau, the town where we caught the bus to go out onto Doubtful Sound, there was a street called "Wong Way." We didn't get a good photo of the street sign there so we were trying to recreate it at our motel In Auckland.

Mt. Eden Motel, last photo of the trip.
